Self contained luxurious accomodation
The WeareHouse in Deloraine is a perfect stopover or holiday destination. Spacious luxury (100square metres excluding deck), accommodating up to six adults. The self contained property is nestled in the grounds of historic Minstrel , a substantial Georgian residence built by Surveyor James Scott. A modern industrial theme provides a restful and spacious environment for recuperating after a day travelling or to use as a base while exploring Deloraine and the wider region.
Deloraine is a medium size country town which has attracted many artists and artisans. A perfect location to purchase local artwork and high end craft.
One of Deloraine's best kept secret is the platypus often seen frolicking in the Meander River which dominates our beautiful rural environment.

Platypus spotting

The Meander River runs through the middle of Deloraine. It is healthy and, in parts, fast flowing. If you are patient there is a very good chance you will see a platypus splashing at the water's edge. One of our best kept secrets.
A free platypus tour is conducted by the Empire Hotel, each evening.
